Кроссворд по теме "Лондон" предназначен для уроков английского языка в начальной и средней школе. В кроссворде использованы названия достопримечательностей Лондона, упомянутых в текстах учебника 4 класса школ с углублённым изучением английского языка (авторы Верещагина, Афанасьева). Формулировки заданий также соответствуют текстам учебника из раздела "Town life. London".

При работе с кроссвордом на уроке некоторые предложения можно заменить фотографиями достопримечательностей. Учащимся можно также предложить воспользоваться учебником в процессе решения кроссворда или для самопроверки после решения кроссворда, посокльку орфография некоторых названий может вызвать трудности.
